Join Veritas Steel as a Welder, where you'll play a vital role in the production of bridge girder components. This position involves a combination of welding, fabricating, and assembly operations, requiring precision, attention to detail, and the ability to meet high production demands. You'll ensure quality and safety while contributing to the construction of critical infrastructure projects. Welder also adhere to company policies to ensure a safe working environment. Must be 18 years old to apply.

• 1st Shift starting at $23.07 1st Shift Schedule: Mon-Thurs 5AM - 420PM
• 2nd Shift starting at $24.07 2nd Shift Schedule: Mon-Thurs 430PM - 350AM
• Weekend Shift starting pay: $26.38 per hour Weekend Shift Schedule: Fri-Sun 5AM-5PMPrinciple Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Execute high-quality FCAW welding processes on structural steel.
  • Set up and adjust welding equipment as required for specific tasks.
  • Weld in multiple positions, including flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead
  • Fabricate, drill, grind, and assemble bridge girder components per project specifications.
  • Perform FCAW welding and other assembly operations to meet production standards.
  • Utilize tools, clamps, and fixtures to ensure proper alignment and fit of materialsKnowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
    • 1+ years of experience in welding; FCWA required
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
    • Commitment to work safety and actively participating in our safety culture
    • Quality, accuracy, thoroughness, and reliability of work performed

      • Able to lift up to 75lbs occasionally
      • Must be able to push /move objects up to 100 lbs. of force
      • Necessary to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, and work at heights
      • Must have a good range of motion when reaching forward, shoulder to overhead, and bendingWorking Conditions:
        • Work is performed indoors in a large warehouse or outside in all weather conditions
        • May be required to climb heights for work
        • Regular exposure to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, heavy steel, Heights & other possible hazardous conditions
        • Safety glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots are required; a respirator is required for specific operationsSafety is our priority!
