for a local contract nursing job in Mauston, Wisconsin.Job
Description & Requirements
Job title: Registered Nurse - Acute Care
Location: Mauston, WI 53948
Schedule: Full-time, 72 hours per pay period; three, 12 hour shifts
per week- 7:00pm to 7:30am
Weekend rotation: Every 4th weekend Weekend shift differential
available
Holiday rotation: Paid Holidays
Position Summary:
The Registered Nurse position provides quality, professional,
general nursing care to patients. Responsible for assessing,
planning, implementing, documenting, and evaluating patient care
for a group of patients in the department. Must adapt appropriately
to changes in daily assignments, patient status changes, and unit
needs.
Position Requirements:
Two-year degree in nursing required. Four-year degree
preferred.
Must hold and maintain nursing license. RNs with an active Compact
Licensure are to obtain a Wisconsin RN license within 90 days of
relocation.
BLS within 1 month of hire, ACLS within 2 years of hire, PALS
encouraged within 2 years of hire
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Intermediate proficiency with computers is required.
Comprehensive nursing skills and general knowledge of
equipment.
Strong skills to manage, coordinate, and evaluate the care and
education of patients and family.
Strong quantitative and analytical competency.
Self-starter with excellent interpersonal communication and
