Job Description:
Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Obstetrics RN Job
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: (3) 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7:30am),
with rotating weekends & holidays Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per

Wisconsin Registered Nursing License Certifications: - Current BLS
- Current NRP - Current ALSO - Intermediate Fetal Monitoring

Description: - Provide quality nursing care for maternal and
newborn patients. - Collaborate with other professional staff to
provide services reflecting the caring philosophy of the hospital.
- Complete initial nursing histories and assess patients'
conditions to develop individual care plans. - Appropriately triage
patient care based on presenting or expressed symptoms. -
Accurately administer medications. - Assess labor progression and
manage induction and cervical ripening. - Competently handle
medical emergencies such as prolapsed cord, breech delivery,
postpartum hemorrhage, and more. - Interpret fetal heart monitoring
accurately. - Manage pregnancy-related concerns, including
hypertension and diabetes. - Assess the condition of newborns and
recognize situations requiring heightened surveillance or
higher-level care. - Perform neonatal resuscitation within the
scope of practice and certification. - Recognize and manage
neonatal sepsis. - Monitor newborns for adverse events like
hypoglycemia, hypothermia, and jaundice, and intervene
appropriately. - Promote patient education and involve patients in
the care of newborns. - Identify and alert the provider about
patient status changes promptly. - Communicate effectively with the
patient's care team. - Perform other duties as requested.
