Job Description:
JOB SUMMARYThe Surgical Physician Assistant or Surgical Nurse
Practitioner is a skilled member of the allied health care team who
is qualified both academically and clinically to provide diagnostic
and therapeutic services to patients under the supervision of a
licensed physician. The Surgical Physician Assistant/ Nurse
Practitioner works within a cooperative unit, utilizing team effort
with health care providers, co-workers, and the public to provide
positive patient interaction.In this role, you will join a group of
nine NPs & PAs who support a thirteen surgical orthopedic
physicians. You will rotate between assisting in the OR, Clinic and
Inpatient rounding duties. Call is 1:9.JOB QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or
equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution
whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher
Education and Accreditation. Minimum Required: Graduate of a
nationally accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Program.EXPERIENCE Preferred/Optional: One year in specialty.

certification(s), registration(s), etc., are required for this
position. Licenses with restrictions are subject to review to
determine if restrictions are substantially related to the
position. Minimum Required:
